how can i fix my mercedes 316 sprinter van?

glow plug light on dash stays on.can you please tell me what the problem is,thanks

It is more than likely you have a dead glowplug,this is normally why the light stays on for a while after starting it up,be warned though they often sieze and break up and cant be removed as normal,so if yours starts ok leave them alone,if you need to do them use plenty of wd40 and be careful!!!!
