G-1030ST steam iron?

I purchased this steam iron back in 2009, its the best iron i have ever owned,with no problems at all apart from the steam button which is placed underneath the handle has broke,i think something inside has snapped,for which i can not process the steam. I wanted to know if this button can be replaced as the guarantee has run out?
