Mend Boiler Heating Gas

boiler switches off?

Boiler pilot light is on.
When you start it it works as normal.
After about 2 mins boiler cuts out but pilot remains on.
After letting it stand for about 20 mins ,attempts to start again but abot 2 mins it goes off again.
Seems like something expands with heat and shuts gas flow to boiler
