zanussi zbp1165 error f05?

CK many thanks for your help.
I tapped all of the relays more so on the one closest to the heating element wires.
switched back on and after opening and closing the door the element doesnt come on now so looking good.
just cycling a fan assisted mode to check the element goes out again afterwards but may end up replacing the relay if i can get a spare.
Surprised there isnt a fail safe for things like this, even when the oven was off it displayed F05 yet the heating element was bright red and fully on.

could be a powerboard issue.find the relay on the power board and you might be able to remove the plastic top and release the terminals if they have welded up.Not all power boards have relays that can be cleaned which means you need to solder a new one on to the pcb or buy new power board at great expense!.check wiring whilst your at it for loose/shorting terminals
