Halstead Finest Gold, 9 years old, heater fires & reaches temp, then cuts out & goes to loockout once temp drops I press reset button heater fires once more. had three engineers look at it & its still the same

either temperature limit stat isn't working, the gas valve isn't modulating (cutting the gas rate), the pump isn't working efficiently or there is a blockage or restriction. start with the pump when you switch on the flow from the boiler should get hot in seconds. after a while if the boiler starts making a noise the gas flame should lower if it doesn't it's either the stat or gas valve
