what is the prob and how do i fix my hotpoint aquarius wf325?

During a cycle my washer stopped continueing,the motor was still on but there was no movement.Then after a few mins the motor cut out and few buttons on the control panel started flashing,and the off button wouldnt work.I have tryed putting it on other cycles but the same happens,it is still full of water and obviously the door wont release! Is it fixable,& can i do it without an engineer?
