Mend Reset Button Light Working

My boiler has the reset button and the blue light flashing on/off?

I can't seem to get my boiler just working. What ever I do it starts up ok for about 2 mins and then the red reset light flashes on and off and the blue light indicating its on and ok flashes on and off too. With this no hot water. I tried resetting and switching on and off and no change. please help!

Simple things first, check the gas is on and available, after this you need an RGI to check it out.
The flashing blue light can flash in one of two ways, meaning different problems.
