Mend Samsung E700 Inside Display Problem

how do you stop the inside screen going white?

My phone is a samsung E700 and when i flip it open the inside screen becomes white and i have to hold the top bit almost so you can't see the screen to be able to see what your doing. how do i stop it from going white on the inside screen?
