c5 intermitent blow fan ?

i have a c5 2002 model the blower fan works when first start up tgen it stops it comes on again maby 10 mins later for about 4 seconds then stops
Any iders. As i cant use the demister

could be the fan control module but sounds like a bad connection the most likely cause is fuse no 18 under the bonnet due to the amount of current it carries it's prone to melting the fuse and it's carrier
