bleeding van after running out of diesel?

i have a 1999 iveco daily van 2.8 i ran out of fuel have since refuelled but van wont start can anybody take me through the procedure for bleeding the fuel sstem

you could try and remove the fuel filter and manually fill with diesel,think it is on n/s inner wing in engine compartment,once full open a couple of injector pipes,crank over and make sure you are getting fuel up to there,shut off the pipes and hope for the best
