How to fix a faulty button for the hazard lights?

I have a faulty hazard warning light button, it won't switch off and the hazard lights keep flashing, I have to hold the button in to stop it. What can I do?

They sometimes get dirt in them, try squirting it with some WD40, or similar & work it in by operating the switch.
