Mend Renault Megane Engine Warning Motorway

Warining light saying check injection on renault megane?

When the car has been driven for a while and i was on the motorway going around 80 mph the car engine stopped and i had to push the ignition button which thankfully started the car. An amber light came on and the warning of check injection. The car was revving very loud. The mechanic cannot find what's wrong. Can you help?

I had a similar problem since i got my megane. Mine's 07. When engine rev to 4000rpm for 10 sec, engine check amber light flashes...if continue to drive, check injection msg with a loud knock, then power loss. Re-start, everything is ok. Brought back to dealer, replace fuel injection unit and now ok. But i have another problem now...extreme high fuel consumption after the new injector. Dealer said drive for a few weeks..may improve..still testing out.
