Zanussi FL828 keeps filling with water but only on programme "worn once"?

I have a Zanussi FL828 which keeps filling with water, but only on programme J which is the "worn once" setting.

My guess is that there is a switch somewhere that is faulty?

All the other settings seem fine, if we use the J setting we have to physically stop the machine and put it on the rince cycle otherwise it will fill right up and flood the kitchen.
