Mend Thomson RCT 311 SE1G Time Help Free

?

Hi All,
First time on this site.I hope someone can help.
I have a Thomson free view box, DVR.With a RCT 311 SE1G. Hand set.
And when I use the program guide, I can only get it to
advance one program right or left.
For instance I can not set it to record a program on Tues
that is broadcast on Wed, As it will only jump one
program at a time

Hi Again,
I dont know if it is usual for someone to answer there own
question.
But I have just discovered that Thomson have gone bust.
And that is why my hand set is US.
It was good while it lasted.
