Mend Fisher & Paykel DD603 Dishwasher Normal Wash

DD603 dishwasher pauses ?

When on a normal wash the dishdrawer pauses through the cycle and the lid is raised as if someone had pushed the pause button. we start it again and it may continue or happen again. Any ideas as to what is causing it.
