Have fitted new heater eliment to dryer on Hotpoint washer/dryer(420g) still no heat. any suggestions.

the toc or thermostat norm goes,the thermostat is a one shot affair,once it goes,you replace it,the toc can be a reset one,or same as the thermostat,check them with a test meter,unplug the machine first.you should get continuity through both of them.but some of the machines just have a thermostat
