This is dependant on the program.
Wash-fills drum with water to 1cm above base of drum.
Timer creeps very slowly (2-3 minutes on display)
Then error E10
Rinse- Fills drum to 4cm above base of drum, runs for a period, drains then stops and then error E10.
Spins fine and drains fine.
Right check the inlet valves.remove the lid from the machine.Lid held on with 2 screws at the back and then firm hard push backwards.find the inlet valves at the back and check the resistance across the coil terminals.they all should be around 4kohms

Thanks for the reply but it is none of those you have listed. It has been installed for about four years with no problems and I have checked the water pressure, drain pipe. The drum fills right up on rise for the first part of the rinse cycle then drains but refuses to go any further, same with the wash. it is if it refuses to move to stage two of either the wash or rinse cycle.

have you got good water pressure.the machine is give so long to get to a level.if its not at that level by the time given it does E10 error.check for kinked inlet hose at the back of the machine also if the drain hose is pushed down a waste pipe make sure no more than 30cms of drain hose is pushed inside waste pipe as syphoning can occur which empties the drum as fast as it fills causing E10 error
