heater on indesit widl126s?

no heat on wash, but heat ok on dryer.
is there only one heater or seperate ones?
ideas welcome!

1 produces the heat to HEAT the water to do the washing
2 produces the HOT AIR to dry the clothes

suspect the water heater possibly o/c
