How can I remove the bobbin holder assembly of my 319k singer?
My old singer sewing machine has jammed. Thread is caught inside the assembly holder, I think that is what it is called, I have removed the bobbin and the foot plate but can't see how to take it apart to clean it. The thread broke off when I tried to pull it out.
Bindi, do not attempt to take the raceway out, get hold of the balance wheel and force it backwards which is clockwise as you are looking at the end of the balance wheel
