I have a Kennmore washer purchased in approximately 1999. I don't have the model number on me. Today, mid-way through the wash cycle it stopped and started smoking (from inside the washer where the clothes are). It smells like burnt rubber so I am wondering if it is a belt. The washer is not full of water & clothes and won't work at all. Any suggestions? Warranty just expired in May.
