Mend Sears 110

Sears 110 top loader with necklace caught between tubs. Removal suggestions?

Sear 110 top loader with 8-10 inch necklace wrapped around spindle between tubs. Tub spins clockwise; need suggestions to remove.

Got it removed. Took a small wire and looped a pen spring on the end, inserted it in one of the drain holes and was able to catch the chain with the spring. Fortunately it was not wrapped around any turning mechanism.
