My Iveco daily gear stick is a large case of guessing where to put it in gear... Is this wear in the gearbox or would it be a simple job of replacing the gear shift / stick. Please help ;op
get someone to operate your gears concentrating on taking up the free play only and have a look down at g/box selector mechanism and see if you can spot wear in pins/bushes/rods,if ok, move to the actual gearlever and see if the play is at the linkages connecting to that,if that is ok the only other place is in the g/box itself
