how can i change a motorised valve?

The radiators and hot water come on together. the house is heating up when I only want hot water

Sounds like the moter needs replacing. Not the complete unit. Inside the unit you will see a part that is 50mm dia X 20mm it has two wires coming away from this is what needs renewing
