Mend Briggs & Stratton 3.75 Sprint Mower Engine Great

Briggs and Straton 3.75 Sprint Mower engine?

My mower was working great unyil I mowed/mulched Oak tree leaves (I have a ton of these) and now the engine starts but then dies after a second. I have cleaned the air filter and wiped around the outside of the carb and this did not help. What can I do?
