vauxhall movano problems?

my van has started cutting out
engine stops and book says coolant problem
it never gets hot .rac said change thermostat.
stil same problem .diagnostic says no problem
its not the headgasket only cuts out at 40 or over but not straight away.i can sometimes do 30 miles sometimes 3 miles
