Mend Toshiba A100 Working Turn

my toshiba A100 is not working?

when i turn on my A100 it is painfully slow to load up. on the bottom right a black square with a ? now appears and when the cursor is placed over it ,it reads TOSHIBA A-100 (bo91). also the computer is un-usable because when asked to do anything such as go on the net it turns completely off after approx 3 mins of painfully trying.many thanks for any help
