hi folks can anyone help !!!!!
my transit strugles to start in the morn its a new battery and once running its showing perfect on the test meter was thinkin alternator but cant be when meter showing 13. on the battery tester any help would be apprecited thanks
you should still get 14v+ when connected across the battery also,this will still verify if your alternator is ok

hi there thanks for the reply , i drove it to the auto shop and the van was switched off he put the meter on the battery terminals not the alternater , please excuse my lack of knowledge on mechanics im a plasterer

if you only have 13 volts coming out of the alternator when the motor is running suspect the alternator/wiring is at fault,look for 14v+ and this should be a better output
