judder fault on ford ka when in 1st gear?

Having selected first gear and allowing clutch to initially bite there is a juddering when setting off.
No clutch slip and goes through all gears no problem,accelerates as normal ?

Thanks for that, it was the rear g/box mount split, just got round to checking it.

have a look at your engine/g/box mountings,if ok it may be you have a faulty clutch assy
