Mend Vauxhall Combo Van Back Problem

Vauxhall van cuts back rev problem?

My vauxhall combo 55plate when started from cold runs for about a mile perfectly and then cuts back on revs for about 200 meters and picks up again. does this a couple of times then runs, i am unhappy to go on long journeys. I have changed the fuel filter but this has not cured the problem. I welcome any knowledge on this problem

egr valves are bad for sticking on these,you could try and have a look to see if it is seized,turbo waste gates are also bad for sticking on these and these usually bring a warning light on your dash,may be worth having a look to see if there are any faults stored
