Mend Black & Decker KR110 Chuck Hammer Drill

Removing Chuck from B&D KR110 Hammer Drill?

Just out of warranty,the spindle lock knob has broken and the chuck is keyless. Took it to my local Bricomarche in France and they want 140 euros to repair it. Can I replace the keyless chuck with a keyed chuck and any suggestions asa to how to lock the chuck in the absence of the spindle lock. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I don't know your model and am not a tool repair guy but the spindle lock is £1.01 from this place. If you are handy it might be worth replacing this.
