I have a macallister 810 watt hammer drill (cod8 10hd) and I can't remove the drill bit from the keyless chuck. I press the button to lock the drill but the chuck just unscrews from the drill !!. Do the opposite and the chuck screws onto the drill but still doesn't release the drill bit. I'd be grateful if anyone could explain what's going wrong.
Try gripping the hand chuck lightly in a vice with the motor set in reverse, and quickly switching on, holding the drill tight. Use care though!
