Mend Hoover Vision HD Dryer Water Emptying Empty

my dryer says the water needs emptying when it is empty?

i have a hoover vision hd condenser dryer which will dry one load but by the second it tells me the water needs emptying which it doesnt, but of course it will not work if it thinks it needs emptying. can anyone help?
