when the taps are turned off, the flame stays on blowing safety valve. What causes this? and is it economically repairable?
I would appreciate any comments.
this should be repaired by a gas safe heating man as sripping down this heater allways involes gas isolation
also these modles are obsolet so only road is to repair

the diaphram pin is faulty as the pin rises but get stuck in an on position causing the boiler to think the water is still running u maybe able to get the diaphram washer and rising pin together if not then you need to buy the complete fitting ring the local boiler spares shops they can give u part prices and know which people that can fit at reasonable prices gl
