double oven not working on a tricity bendix acclaim si505b electric cooker?

i have a tricity bendix acclaim si505b which I have had trouble free for 10 years but the double oven has decided to stop working. The light comes on as normal but no heat is generated. The top oven and oven plates work okay.

Is there something I can check out before calling an engineer.
