It is likely to be time to renew the absorbent pads in the bottom tray of the printer. These mop up any excess ink and the printer software has a counter. When it reaches a certain count it stops working and comes up with a service message.
You can wash the old pads out, then let them dry thoroughly. It is messy so don't do it in your living room! You need something like a utility room sink with lots of water to wash the ink out of the pads.

After that you need to reset your printer's counter, so you just download and use the SSC Service Utility program to reset the counter.
