if an ohv engine it may just need valve clearances adjusting.

get a haynes manual for full details and settings. you can then refer to it as you are doing job.

it depends on your engine,petrol?diesel?cc? it is far to involved to explain on this forum you would be better off buying a good workshop manual with all your settings and torques that you will need
