Mend Scantronic 9600 Alarm Button Key

How can I reset Personal alarm on Scantronic 9600?

Can the personal alarm button be reset without a key as we seem to have misplaced the key?

Well if its been pressed its active anyway.
Unscrew it and push the magnet back up. Refix then and ONLY then put in your code to reset.
