Mend Renault Megane Scenic Driver Drivers

Renault megane scenic 04.. Driver door locking failure?

The drivers door on my scenic is showing on the dashboard as open but is fully closed. This prevents the central locking from working and causes that stupid beep when u move off... anyone help ?
