freezer does not maintain set temperature?

freezer does not maintain set temperature?
my freezer (apm6855-50:50 fridge freezer) temp alarm sounds. can only reset by setting 'super' function. however once super freeze cancels the freezer does not stay cold and as the temp rises the audible alarm sounds.
