restting C&K Securitech?

I've got a c&k securitech 700L alarm, every so often I get a tamper fault and it sounds a tone at the keypad. I've put a link over the 24 hr tamper which I assumed would stop any tampers but still no?

Any thought on how I can get this sorted

factory default codes are,user,1234,engineer code 7890

you dont say what model you have,i will give you the reset for the 700l,it will reset the panel back to factory default codes for user,then you can change to your own number,now to do this the end station,(white box)must be opened,be aware this exposes live connections,so get a electrician,or a friend who can do this for you,now there is a small pair of pins on the circuit board,just under the microprocessor,in the middle of the board,(its called a memory link)put a link between these pins,you can use a bit of tin foil,(dont worry,you wont get a shock)then switch off the main power from the panel,remove red lead of the battery,when the power is restored the speaker will omit an accept tone and all factory user codes will be restored now remove the link,close panel,dont forget to replace the red lead on the battery
