Mend Sony KV-M1400U Tv No Sound

How can I fix my Sony TV, KV-M1400U?

I've got a portable Sony TV, model KV-M1400U. When powered up, there is no sound or picture coming through. A red light flashes when changing channels using the remote control. What could be the problem ? Is it something that is easily fixed ?
