LCD TV picture but no sound?

I just got a Sony LCD and hooked it to my cable box, at first there was no sound, then I installed audio cable and had sound, now there is no more sound and everything seems to be hooked up correctly. Am I doing something wrong?

Try playing a dvd...if you 'have' sound with a dvd the chances are your tv is ok and it's something to do with the cable box,try another scart lead or check you have the vol up full with the 'cable box' remote.failing that,check the headphone socket pin is not jammed in.
