Mend Fujitsu Siemens Esprismo Restore Factory Settings

restore laptop?

I want to restore my daughters laptop to factory settings, its a Fujitsu Siemens Esprismo mobile, its got windows vista on it, I have no disc so when i start it up, press F8 it brings me to the 'repair your computer' then 'windows complete PC restore' when i try that it tells me windows cannot find a backup on the hard disc, is there any other options? Ive saved everything on a cd that I want off it music, pics etc
