Normaly, there is a key combo to press as you power up. Check your documentation.
This will destroy any documents, remove any installed application and put back the crapy and obsolete trial wares the computer came preloaded with.

It may not be possible though: If the main drive have been replaced, or repartitioned to get more storage space, the factory restore image and utilities are suppressed.

As the restoring to factory settings is VERY destructive, you are probably beter to use a normal restore point.

If you realy need to whipe everything clean, I suggest reformating and installing Linux.

It would be good to know why you need to do this - the more usual repair mechanism is to return the machine to a "Restore Point" a condition in history before a fault happened.

So many things will have happened to the machine over time that the only practical way to get back to its birth condition is to re-install the Operating System and device drivers for peripherals.

You say in your question that it is Your laptop and you also say that it's your sister's property - some people (me for instance) may regard this lack of clarity about ownership as suspicious.
