How can I fix my lawn mower?

I have a Briggs and Stratton engine in a Craftsman riding mower. Model # 917273643. It stopped running suddenly, has gas but no spark. It happened one time before and a Briggs tech came out and fixed it quickly - I do not know what he did.
At that time it was under warranty.
