Mend Baxi 552 Boiler Flame Burner

baxi552?

just put a new thermo couple on the boiler and noticed a lot of sutting on the right side of the boiler and the right side of thr burner when lit has a yellow tip flame can anyone tell me the problem

I agree with carefree> Especially with your boiler being open flued. sounds like the pilot needs a good clean out, but dont take the chance

Get it serviced! By a Gas safe engineer.
If the soot builds up, it's a potential killer.
I'm sure your life is worth more than a few quid getting it done properly.
