whats best way to bleed the water system on peugeot406?

With a cold engine, remove the cap from the expansion tank, fill it to the max line and then start the engine and run it at a high idle speed with the heater selected to full hot, when it gets to normal operating temp alow it to idle for 10~15 mins then fit the cap back onto the expansion tank and leave it to run for another 5~10 mins then switch off and allow to fully cool down, then top up if required
