Mend Digilogic DVRW2 Fine Time Clock

its shows preparing?

its fine in standby mode clocke desplays right time but when i turn it on the clock desplays preparing and nothing happens will not turn off unless you unplug it by the mains.could you let me know if this is a serious fault thank you. the make is a digilogic dvrw2
