Mend Digilogic DVDVCR2 VCR DVD Fault

How can I fix my Digilogic VCR/DVD Combi Model No DVDVCR2?

I have a Digilogic VCR/DVD COMBI Model No DVDVCR2 at work which is an Extra Care Village for older people and someone has either managed to put the safe mode on or possibly could be because of a fault. Have tried everything to get safe mode off and have instruction book but no details in that either. Can you help?
