My alba tv has gone black and white?

My alba tv has suddenly lost the colour on the freeview and analogue channels but still works when i use the playstation 3, is there any way to fix this?

So glad I found this site . Same problem - colour T.V turned into B&W one. Unplugged at wall socket just for 30 secs or so..and Voila! colour is restored. Made my day. Thankyou.

Just turned our Alba TV off and on at the wall, and bingo we have colour tv again. So thank you.

All I can say is thank you! Taking the plug out and putting it back in again worked. Didn't need to wait at all. Saved me a few bob replacing the tv. I am sure there is a logical explanation, but I'm not the one who's going to be able to provide it!

Followed the suggestion and unplugged the TV for only a few minutes and it worked - back to colour!

Unplug and re-plug. Doesn't matter how long you leave it.

I got on the internet and read where it said to turn the tv off and unplug for 15 mins. I did this and when I plugged back there it was COLOUR and by the way it was not that brand, so I am guessing it works on all.

I had exactly the same problem. All I did was unpluge the tv at night and left it unpluged until this morning. This worked for me so it might work for you.
